Usage Instructions: 1. Wear thick clean gloves. 2. Tear open the wrapper at the zigzag side. 3. Carefully remove the Probe Cover from the sachet. 4. Avoid contact with nails and any other sharp objects. 5. Unroll the Probe Cover gently over the Transducer Probe. 6. Use any water soluble Conducting Gel or Lubricating Gel for the non Lubricated varietey.

Contra-Indications: Don’t use a probe cover pas its expiry date as rubber latex deteriorates with age. Some patients may have allergies to materials used in the probe cover, such as latex or certain types of plastics. Patients with sensitive skin may experience irritation or discomfort when using certain types of probes cover. Patients with certain medical conditions or anatomical variations may not be suitable candidates for the use of probe covers due to the risk of complications or decreased effectiveness of the procedure.

CAUTIONS: Ensure that the probe cover fits securely over the probe to prevent slippage or displacement during the examination, which could affect the accuracy of the results or cause discomfort to the patient. Verify that the materials used in the probe cover are compatible with the patient’s skin and any medical conditions they may have to avoid allergic reactions or irritation. Maintain the sterility of the probe cover throughout the examination process to minimize the risk of infection or contamination. Before use, inspect the probe cover for any tears, punctures, or defects that could compromise its effectiveness or integrity. Remove the probe cover carefully after use to avoid spillage of bodily fluids and minimize the risk of contamination to healthcare providers and other patients. Dispose of used probe covers according to healthcare facility guidelines for medical waste disposal to prevent the spread of infections. DO NOT REUSE probe covers. Store probe cover in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Heat can deteriorate the physical properties of probe covers. If the rubber material is sticky or brittle or obviously damaged, DO NOT USE it. If additional lubricant is required, use water-based lubricants. DO NOT USE lubricants, such as those made with petroleum jelly, mineral oil, vegetable oil, or cold cream. If the individual package is damaged do not use it. Use a new one from an undamaged package.
